John and Dorothy Luethy

Christar - Japan

Jonathan and Dorothy serve as church planters with Christar.  Their ministry involves giving leadership, discipling believers, and teaching the Bible to unbelievers.  They are presently in Hikari, Japan and thank their dear friends at GBC Clinton for your solid commitment to their ministry. 

The Luethy’s ask that we pray: 
that God will give them a breakthrough in reaching the 8 unbelieving women who are currently in evangelistic Bible studies;
for continued prayer for Mr. Yamamoto, (an unsaved man living in their neighborhood who is reading the Bible);
Shinichi Okubo’s scheduled September baptism and that his unsaved family members will attend, also that Shinichi will find employment.
